Report analyses measures that EU Member States implement during the global financial and economic crisis

European Commission published new research paper on topic of taxation: Tax reforms in EU Member States – Tax policy challenges for economic growth and fiscal sustainability.

According to the paper, fiscal policies in 2011 and 2012 were generally driven by the need to restore the sustainability of public finances and tax revenue in the EU increased. This upward trend is expected to continue until 2013 at least.
