Montenegro introduces one stop shop for registration of companies

Within activities of the Council for Regulatory Reform and Improvement of Business Environment, preconditions for establishment of the one stop shop system for registration of companies within the Central Registry of the Commercial Court (CRPS) have been created

As of 20 May 2011, new business organisations will be able to register a company, apply for general tax registration, obtain VAT, excise and customs number in one place.

In that way they will not have to visit counters in several different institutions, what will save their time and money. While until now registration was possible only in the Central Registry of the Commercial Court, in the following period, upon realisation of planned activities, registration of companies in eight regional offices of the tax administration will be enabled.

The afore-mentioned activities will have a significantly impact on improvement of the business environment, economic growth, enhancement of the investment climate and better positioning of our country in international reports. Information on documents necessary for registration is available for all interested business organisation at www.crps.me.
