Malta and Mexico sign Double Taxation Convention

Malta has now 66 double taxation and other bilateral agreements

Malta and Mexico signed a Convention for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income.

This Convention also provides for exchange of information on tax matters between the competent authorities of Malta and Mexico based on internationally agreed standards with a view to combating international tax avoidance and evasion.

This is the second Double Taxation Convention (after Uruguay) which Malta has been signed with a Latin American country.
