Corporation tax cuts will be the “signature” of the Coalition Government, the Chancellor has said

George Osborne said officials had given “plenty of arguments” why his cuts to corporation tax from 28p to 24p could be delayed but he was “proud” he had resisted.

“The Government’s decision to very aggressively cut corporation tax is something that I am proud of and I think will be a signature of the Government. It has been noticed around the world,” said Mr Osborne, who was speaking at the Institute of Director’s annual conference in London.
